After leaving the laundromat, (also once the video ends) Albert goes back and burns the evidence out of panic, before burning down the laundromat to get rid of the cctv footage. In the process, he dies, but no one ends up learning about his crimes, and it's later seen as just another "unsolvable tragedy."A few years later, a pawn shop is built in its place, but of course, Albert's ghost doesn't leave. The pawn shop owner, Jake(also known as Jayingee on YouTube) is the only one who can see Albert based on the fact that Albert tied their souls together to torment Jake due to pure boredom, as only a few human years is about 200 ghost years. Albert pretty much just annoys Jake, but also mentally torments him and isolates him from other people so that Jake can't get out of the soul-tie. Albert uses this advantage to end up possessing Jake's body to get some form of humanity back, and takes over Jake's life AS JAKE going forward.
